PROPOSTE is 25. A few words about the most closed textile exhibition
12.06.2017, Выставки
This year the Proposte exhibition turned 25. Many Italian factories took part in it throughout the years, as, for example, the light fabrics manufacturers Giber.
During these years the exhibition has grown twice and has received the status of an international one.
In the year of 2017, 89 factories took part in the Proposte, 42 of them were Italian and 47 came from 10 different countries. This year the number of visitors insignificantly increased, still there were representatives from more countries among them than the last year.
The exhibition is still closed; only representatives of wholesale companies, editors, large retail chains and converters are invited to it.

Proposte has high requirements to the exhibitors: the manufacturers, willing to take part in it, should possess production facilities and the level of technology corresponding to the world requirements.
For example, factories from India and Turkey are still not allowed on the main platform, so for many years they have been renting villas or hotel lobbies near the exhibition. This year however, Proposte included the main external sites in the exhibition program, organizing them in the so called “International Observatory”.

Designers and buyers of all the world's leading editors come together on Proposte. Among the regular customers of the factories are companies like Pierre Frey, Lilievre, Zimmer + Rohde, JAB ANSTOETZ, Kravet, Christian Fischbacher and many others. The main goal of the publishers is to select the most innovative and advanced textile solutions. On the other side, the factories see their task in demonstrating of production and fabric finishing technologies and selling of the most successful designs as exclusive.
So, Proposte turns into a sheer inspection of textile technologies and future fabric trends.
