MTL inc. (USA)

MTL is the first American company, invited to Proposte as exponent.
It is the producer of interior fabics from the USA, 90% of the production is the upholstery of high level segment. İn their production they use a majority of American yarns. Company's speciality is in cutom warp set ups for small quantity runs. MTL makes jacquards and velvets mostly of natural materials. Up-to-date looms can produce fabrics of up to 40 colored yarns in base, this helps to get a high level of fabric weight, using the double warp beam.
At the exhibition the company demonstrated multicolored jacquards with voluminous effects.

The Italian factory specializes in light tissues, Devore and unusual finishing techniques, three-dimensional applications, complex color transitions, large jacquard patterns, big coupons up to 340 cm.
At the Proposte 2017 the factory presented light fabrics in modern style, volume structures, embroideries on light fabrics, double fabrics, interesting designs with cutted yarns, 3D effects, degrade, volume structures made with shrunk yarns, natural raffia look-like.

RAYMAKERS (Netherlands)

One of the world leaders in production of velvet with centuries of history, established 1773. The strong side of the factory is a variety of plain velvet in a wide colour range of various compositions of densities and textures, as well as FR velours. Also, the factory applies innovative technologies for the production of jacquard velvet, velvet prints and patterning method of pile combing.
This brand is already good known in Russia.
This year the factory issued it’s own composition of colors and velvet structures in the main 4 trends of the 17-18 years. This is an interesting tool, the trendbook of Raymakers, should support wholesalers and editors in creating new collections.

The Italian factory, the leader in the production of tulles in Devore technique. It presents the high level of design, advanced technologies for the processing of tissues and natural materials. Company produces light fabrics using jacquard thechnology, devore, fill coupe and screen printing on light fabrics in the width up to 340 cm.
We were surprised to find lace in the “Madras” technique in the collection. The collection is made mainly in the style of modern classics in discreet natural tones, we noted the design with a wide coupon on the bottom edge.
The producer combines several techniques in one design, pays much attention to detail, uses for fabric production only Italian yarns.

At the Proposte 2017 the company demonstrated combinations of many different technologies for producing upholstery velvets such as multicolour basis of jacquard velvets, digital prints on the basis, bright colorful mixes, amaizingly soft and dense fleece of velvets, daring bright colorful designs, renewed classic ornaments, a lot of composite geometrical ornaments, the ‘mica spraying’ look in the velvet designs.

The new collection is very cosmopolitan as it is based on impressions of MYB’s designers from their travel to Morocco, Cambodia, Vietnam, India and Russia. It includes ethnical ornaments in the ''ceramic tile'' look.
