MOST POPULAR FABRICS at Heimtextil Russia
We would like to start our detailed review of the expo by overviewing the main accents of the suppliers’ assortments.

We endeavored to determine which trends that came up at the world’s expos of the current year, have found their way into the collections of the Russian factories and suppliers at the Heimtextil Russia.
There is no secret in the fact that the Russian market embraces new colors and tendencies at least one year behind some of the other major markets in the world, and the tastes of our clients take even longer to adapt to these novelties. Therefore, it is only natural that warehouse-based collections are always a compromise between fresh design and traditional, timeless fabrics.
With discord to the above, however, we were very pleased to find at the Heimtextil fair, vivid examples of the world’s most current trends in textile fashion.
TRENDS OF THE HEIMTEXTIL RUSSIA
MODEST MANOR (NATURE-THEMED PRINTS) (trend was showcased at the Evteks)
Bright, floristic prints with striped/geometric companions, as well as watercolor designs in soft pastel color schemes, have become the unconditional leaders of the expo.

Prints with large tropical leafs, birds, feathers and butterflies, which were abundant at the Turkish Evteks, have appeared in Russia, as did bright, and often “screaming” color combinations.

Classical style will always maintain a firm place among the best sellers of the Russian market. Fabrics with modern interpretation of traditional designs and ornaments were abundant at the show.
Among the latest tendencies in the genre, are embossed ornaments, blurry indistinct designs and color gradations, all of which are achieved through digital printing. To this group, we also add jacquards with embossed ornaments, velvet with the use of thermo-printing, as well as merging of various techniques on a single fabric.
