This year has brought more interesting producers and – that’s especially delighted us – more producers of interior fabrics.


There are even more linen fabrics in the collections, viscose is much less and just a little bit of silk – obviously, the interest in silk is fading away.
Collections presented a lot of wool, very silky and almost weightless soft pile fabrics.


Indian producers traditionally present their collections outside of the main show zone. They, as usual, are full of embroidery, ethnic motives and bright colors.
On the contrary, European producers mostly use neutral colors, natural fabrics, voluminous textures in their collections.


At the same time this year is obviously richer on the unexpected, unconventional, unhackneyed decisions; collections look more interesting. The combination of natural and modern materials, usage of several techniques (such as jacquard weaving, prints, embroidery, interesting finishing techniques) for one fabric – all of these gives us catchy bright textiles.


The range of technological, innovative fabrics continues gaining its popularity. There are, for example, fabrics, keeping an appropriate temperature level, waterproof and acoustic fabrics.

Using eco-technologies for producing FR fabrics is also worth mentioning as well as an interesting decision – chemical free fabrics with the natural abrasive processing.


More details you can find in our next reviews, but even now we can say that new collection will delight us with an abundance of interesting fabrics for the next year or two. Producers has got ready for that.
