We are going to Heimtextil for interesting fabrics, new contacts and, of course, for trends.

We hope to see what king of fabrics will be in demand among the customers in the new year, how will be changed the tastes of people under the influence of the fashion brands advertising and changes in the society.

It is important to note from the experience of the previous exhibitions that Heimtextil trends have a very explicit reflection in the collections of the key factories throughout the whole year. And in recent years, actual trends began to arrive fast enough on the Russia market.

Therefore, we have concerned with special attention to the trend area.


Turn on the surrounding world
Last year began at Heimtextil under the motto of wellbeing Wellness 4.0, it reflects the human desire to protect from the aggression of the world and turn the home into an island of calm and security.

But already in August, the emphasis has shifted: at Intertextile Shanghai new theme was announced Far Away «Going beyond the brinks" at the September Maison & Objet - «The game» House of Games.

And main topic of this year's Heimtextil was a discovery.

Heimtextil trends reflect the search for a new in four directions: investigation of the virtual world, the outer space, nature and culture.

Expanding the temporal and spatial boundaries, space exploration, futurism, opportunities of the virtual world, tailor-made products and "smart home".

Trends are unified by the search for a new emotional experience, the scope for pure creativity and some courage in the textile solutions.

New trendy colors and the main emphasis on originality, the desire to surprise with unusual materials and unusual designs and textures.

Planetary explorations

This year abstract textures also have gone in search of innovative solutions: a study of the matter depth and attempts to create new structures in the tissue.

Natural explorations

Conscious attitude towards nature and the value of natural materials. Inspiration by natural elements and textures, recreation of the tree bark texture, of animal skin, of the water and soil surface.

This year the nature theme was complemented with innovative processing techniques, new natural fibers began to be used: nettle, mosses, and algae. The emphasis on the coarseness of shapes and materials.

I would like to point out that the trends presented at the international exhibitions, is important to consider from the perspective of the russian buyer.

The virtual world, Space, Culture, Nature are the constants. Their importance can not be denied, but the question of how it manifests itself in aesthetics, refer to the lifestyle and values of the buyer.

For example, Nature. For the buyers in Europe and Russia, in view of the global differences in culture, historical past, its perception - two close, but still a different code. If Europeans rethinking of the natural recourses use is a live, hot topic, but for the majority of the audience in Russia the saving, thrifty attitude to nature is only gently growing today. Therefore, and visual solutions are different. Rather, we look at the roots and wealth of natural diversity in the contemporary visual reading.
